Bellingham Beer Week!!!
For those who haven’t heard about the festivities going on this week…LISTEN UP…because you’re not going to want to miss this one!!!
Celebrate Bellingham’s craft beer scene with an entire week (+ 3 more days because one week isn’t long enough) dedicated soley to the love, exploration, and passion of Craft Brewing. Boundary Bay, and several of the other awesome breweries and pubs in town, are assembling together to give you 10 whole days of non-stop “Ale-related” events. (AKA Disney Land for adults.) The possibilities of the potential events you can attend are overwhelming, so TAKE A GOOD LOOK at what might interest you — AND GET OUT AND ENJOY YOURSELVES!
FRI 9/21 - Kick off at the Copper Hog with a pig roast and Lauralwood Head Brewer Vasili with his Fresh Hop Beers! OR Guest Tap kick-off at Kulshan Brewery, 11AM OR Washington Beer Fest at McKay’s Taphouse.
SAT 9/22 – Oktoberfest with Fest Bier, beer from other local breweries and more at Chuckanut Brewery OR Lager off at the Copper Hog, come vote for your favorite West Coast lager and drink it by the liter! OR IPA taste-testing all day at Elizabeth Station OR WA Beer Fest at McKay’s Taphouse.
SUN 9/23 - Chuckanut Brewery tour at Noon. OR Gluten free Beer/Food Party at Elizabeth Station at 7PM. OR can beer event at Copper Hog.
MON 9/24 - Visit Bellingham’s great beer spots on the Beer-Muda Triangle bike ride! Fuel up on appetizers at Boundary Bay, then get on your bike and head to Kulshan, on to Elizabeth Station, off to Chuckanut Brewery and ending at the Copper Hog around 4PM. OR Merchant Du Vin Passport day at Elizabeth Station.
TUE 9/25 - Watch for “The Love of Beer” for FREE in the Boundary Beer Garden at dusk OR Cider & Mead night at Elizabeth Station with Honey Moon & Finn River OR Cascade Lakes brewers night at McKay’s Taphouse.
WED 9/26 - Sausage and Beer tasting with Cascade Lakers at the Copper Hog OR Chat up beer book author Lisa Morrison at Chuckanut Brewery OR Pike Brewery night at Elizabeth Station.
THU 9/27 – Drink.Shift at the Copper Hog, come support this Make.Shift fundraiser with New Belgium OR Come to Elizabeth Station and see Full Sail Brewery at 4PM and Canning Night with Hilliards at 7PM.
FRI 9/28 – Cask Night at Kulshan Brewery at 6PM OR Stone Beer and Ribs at Copper Hog – enjoy a wide selection of specialty beer from Stone and Arrogant Bastard BBQ sauced Ribs mmmm OR Cascade Brewery tap take-over at Elizabeth station.
SAT 9/29 - Boundary Bay: SPACEBAND plays at 9PM! OR Barleywood Squares with Ninkasi (a beer version of Hollywood Squares) at The Copper Hog. OR homebrew demonstration and beer & food pairings in the courtyard at Cheese Meat(s) Beer. OR Snipes Mountain Brewery night at Elizabeth Station.
SUN 9/30 – Ninkasi, Skagit River, and Naked City Brewers night and parking lot party at McKay’s Taphouse!
Elizabeth Station had a Gluten Free food and drink party on Sunday. As far as other specific “gluten free” events, I don’t believe so : / You can always call the breweries and ask if they offer any. We don’t here at BBB — so sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers : )
