The 7th annual Compete for a Cause Cribbage Tournament will take place in the Boundary Bay Beer Garden on Sunday, September 22nd from 9am-4pm. All proceeds from the event will go to the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC) whose mission is to promote understanding, tolerance, and healing in our community by helping people transform conflict into creative and harmonious outcomes. Offering conflict prevention and intervention services for businesses, organizations, individuals, and families, WDRC seeks to help community members to better manage conflict as it arises, and to learn ways to minimize the possibility of it occurring.
Join us on September 22nd, and help support this valuable local non-profit by participating in the Compete for a Cause Cribbage Tournament. All proceeds raised will go to support WDRC’s conflict management programs. All ages and experience levels are welcome, though understanding of the game is important. Advanced registration is strongly encouraged, due to limited bracket space. The tournament will begin at 10am, with a 9am check-in.
A pre-paid Breakfast ($6.50) and Lunch ($10) will be offered when signing up for the tournament. If you have dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan) please be in touch with our catering manager, Ilana at firstname.lastname@example.org.
