Social networks have changed the face of business. Potential customers now gather information from many sites online and no longer allow an advertiser to determine the image of the business. Technology has changed the way we shop, how we engage brands and the expectations that we hold for organizations. Businesses are smart to monitor their reviews online and gauge exactly how the public is responding to our product since statistics report that over 60% of internet users have changed their minds due to something they have read online. While we have consistently gotten rave reviews about our beer and our food, we are noticing that we aren’t getting the same consistent level of positive feedback about our service. Luckily, this year, Boundary Bay Brewery and its staff made a 2009 resolution that all employees from the owner to the dishwashers are signing. It reads: “I resolve to help in the recreation of Boundary’s commitment to the guest as our #1 priority. I strive to at all times be attentive, polite, gracious and thankful.” We look forward to working together to create a positive and comfortable dining experience for all of our customers.
