We’re brewing a special beer here at Boundary Bay Brewery…Chili Beer! The weather is heating up and we’re making a spicy but refreshing beer for Cinco De Mayo! This is a light bodied ale spiked with roasted Anaheim, Jalapeno and Serano peppers. But don’t worry, it’s not as hot as it sounds! Luckily, roasting the peppers takes away some of the heat but leaves all the flavor. Try some with our huge plate of nachos! Or one of our signature Yam Ale-chiladas (you know…like enchiladas, but with beer!) which is a mixture of American Yams, Cheddar and Jack cheese, carmelized onions and roasted garlic, wrapped in corn tortillias and topped with molé poblano sauce. There’s only one keg of this special beer, so make plans on May 5th to come celebrate Cinco De Mayo with us at Boundary Bay Brewery!
