We love celebrating the holidays at Boundary Bay Brewery! We invite our community to join us for Christmas Eve dinner, Easter brunch, to celebrate the Solstice, St. Patrick’s Day, Mother’s Day Brunch, and many more. But one of our favorite evenings is our Valentine’s Dinner! It’s a chance for our brewery to switch gears for a night and get a little bit cozier. We whip up a special menu, bring in table side music and set up lots of tables for two. This year, the Protea String Quartet will be playing at our Valentines Dinner and while our regular menu will still be available, we’re hoping to tempt you with some delicious treats that you can’t always find here at Boundary Bay Brewery. Mussels and Chorizo – local Mussels and chorizo sausage in a creamy tomato broth.
Flank Steak Involtini–Tender flank steak rolled with smoked provolone cheese, roasted bell peppers & spinach, braised in a rustic tomato sauce with kalamata olives. Served with gemelli pasta.
Ravioli alla boscaiola – Four cheese ravioli served in a classic woodsman’s sauce is rich with tomatoes and local wild mushrooms. (vegetarian)
Sokeye Salmon – Grilled local sokeye salmon served with a bright citrus beurre blanc and rainbow chard. Served with Yukon mashed potatoes.
Tarragon Chicken – two chicken breasts stuffed with feta cheese and tarragon, served in Mandarin orange cream sauce. Served with Yukon mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable.
Stuffed Pork Tenderloin – Roasted pork tenderloin stuffed with lemon herb goat cheese with a dried fruit pan sauce. Served with Yukon mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetable.
** Dessert **
Lemon Cheesecake – delicate lemon cheesecake with a hazelnut crust made with local Holmquist Orchards filberts, topped with candied nuts and lemons.
Butternut Squash Creme Brulee – our own catering managers award-winning recipe for butternut squash creme brulee, finished with a caramelized brown sugar top.
Mango Sorbet – our baker makes this light and refreshing mango sorbet in house, served with fresh fruits and a hint of citrus. Vegan/gluten free!
Chocolate Torte – a dense flourless chocolate cake served with cremem fraiche and raspberry coulis.
Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Truffles – strawberries dipped in white and dark chocolates and rolled in toasted coconut or local hazelnut crumbles, served with house made dark chocolate and vanilla hazelnut truffles.
