Boundary Bay Brewery and the Pickford Film Center (PFC) are teaming up again to bring The Big Lebowski to Bellingham once more!
Join us Friday, June 25th, for an outdoor showing of The Big Lebowski around 9:30pm. We’re telling everyone to BYOBR (bring your own bathrobe!) because we’ll be having a The Dude Look-a-Like Contest before the movie starts! After the movie, the crowd is headed over to 20th Century Bowl for 3 games of Midnight Lebowski Shabbos Bowl. $5 gets you shoes and 3 games!
The Pickford Film Center was founded in 1998 by a small group of local film fans dedicated to making high-quality cinema available in Bellingham and the entire Whatcom County region. The mission of PFC is to provide a forum and resource for independent cinema, strengthening community through education, dialogue and the celebration of film. PFC offers year-round, independent, foreign and documentary film and related special events.
The fun starts around 9:30 pm in the Boundary Bay Brewery Beer Garden. A donation to the Pickford ($5 suggested) is all you’ll pay to watch the movie…plus you’ll have our kick-a** craft beer and pizza slices for your palette’s pleasure during the movie! We’re excited about this event because it’s small, local businesses teaming up to bring our community a little Big Lebowski love! We’re doing it for fun, to help raise money for the Pickford Film Center and to have a night purely for celebrating everything Lebowski! And who doesn’t love The Dude?!?
