Boundary Bay Brewery & Bistro is pleased to be hosting a most excellent all ages hip hop show Saturday, September 26 @ 6pm in the beer garden with performances by Seattle rapper D.Black, local Bellingham rap group The Productionists and rap upstarts Fresh Ave.
D.Black has been a fixture in the burgeoning Seattle hip-hop for many years. His parents were both members of pioneering northwest hip-hop groups The Emerald Street Boys and The Emerald Street Girls and at the age of 18 he was given part ownership of Seattle hip-hop label Sportn’ Life Records by his father. D.Black’s performance at Boundary Bay Brewery will also mark the release of his new album Ali’Yah, his critically acclaimed sophomore effort.
The Productionists have been hard working members of the Bellingham hip-hop scene for a number of years. Their performance at Boundary Bay Brewery will be the culmination of months of practice and preparation with a live band featuring members of SpaceBand and other special guests.
This is definitly a show you DO NOT want to miss! The beer garden opens @ 4pm with a BBQ and $6 admission will be charged starting @ 6pm.
