AVIAR PUTTER (A) speed: 2, turn: 0, fade: 1, glide: 3 — This disc’s versatility and dependability in all conditions makes it a must have disc golf disc for any serious competitor’s bag. This is a straight flyer with a predictable finish. Best choice for putting, short to medium drives, accuracy approaches, and beginners.
WRAITH DRIVER (W) turn: -1, fade: 3, glide: 5 — This disc has a long, fast stable flight. Plus, it is predictable and flies very low. Great into a headwind. Perfect for those shots when you have to punch it through a window a good distance away! Best choice for maxium distance, tailwind drives, intermediate to advanced players looking for the ultimate distance disc.
DESTROYER DRIVER (DS) turn: -1, fade: 4, glide: 5 — This is a very fast stable to overstable long distance disc golf driver. A great choice for sidearm throwers and those with lots of power. This disc can handle headwinds. Not a great choice for beginning players. Best choice for maximum distance, headwind drives, intermediate to advanced players looking for a stable, wind-fighting distance disc.
ROC (R) speed: 4, turn: 0, fade: 3, glide: 4 — This is a slightly overstable mid to long range disc. It works great at a variety of arm speeds. Best choice for sidearm approaches and as a utility disc for experienced players.
SPEED: Speed is rated on a scale of 1-10. The lower the profileof the disc the faster the disc flies upon release by the thrower. Speed is rated on a scale of 1-10.
TURN: This is the general flight of the disc as it leaves the throwers hand. The ratings indicate the general flight of a right handed, backhand throw by an experienced thrower that throws with average power. A thrower with less power will result in the disc having a higher turn rating (more overstable). Turn is rated on a scale of – 4 (most understable) to + 4 (most overstable).
FADE: This is the flight of the disc as it starts to slow down and reach the end of it’s flight. Turn is rated on a scale of 0-4.
GLIDE: This is the amount of ‘carry’ or ‘float’ the disc has. The higher a discs glide rating, the longer it will stay in the faster ‘Turn’ portion of it’s flight. Glide is rated on a scale of 1-10.
