Boundary Bay Brewery Birthday!

Posted on August 27, 2009 by Boundary Bay

Picture 3It’s our birthday Wednesday, September 16th…but we’re celebrating it on Thursday the 17th this year.

Come down to the Boundary Bay Brewery beer garden and celebrate our 14th anniversary with us here at the brewery!   We’ll have free cake and ice cream, happy hour music from Robert Sarazin Blake.  Our BBQ will be up and roaring too, so plan on getting a Wildcatch Salmon burger or a Bratwurst and onion rings to go with your favorite Boundary Bay brew.  And, since it’s Thursday, we’ll have a cask ale during happy hour and…best of all…the release of our Harvest Ale!!!

The Boundary Bay Brewery Harvest Ale is a beautiful red-orange beer with rich malty flavors which were “harvested” from an extra long boil in the kettle and balanced with the addition of both Simcoe and Crystal hops. This is a full bodied beer, which is perfect for our cool fall evenings. This autumn seasonal has only a distant connection to the German “Oktoberfest” style from which it gets its inspiration. Maltiness is the predominate flavor component of any true Oktoberfest style and also really stands out in our Harvest Ale.

PIONEERS OF BELLINGHAM BEER!

Boundary Bay Brewery opened in 1995 and we've been Saving The Ales ever since!

We pride ourselves on making great handcrafted beer and fresh, local food for the Bellingham community.

Our brewery, which houses a Tap Room and a family friendly Bistro, is located in a historic 1922 warehouse in Downtown Bellingham, across from the Saturday Farmer’s Market.

We also have a great deck for outdoor dining and a Beer Garden where you can enjoy BBQ's and outdoor concerts in the Summer. You can see why this is where the locals love to go!

We work hard to brew great craft beer and we've been recognized with over 70 awards for our handcrafted beers over the years. Come see what makes us so special!
