Boundary Bay Unveils a New Dessert Menu

At Boundary Bay Brewery and Bistro, we like to try new things…especially when it comes to our food.  Some favorites, like the Mac and Cheese and the Yam Alechiladas are tried and true and we wouldn’t dare to mess with ’em.  But, desserts are one area that we feel free to take creative license in and we are lucky enough to have some very creative cooks on hand.  The desert menu listed below is our new list of treats designed to tempt you and please you.  Shake off your winter blues and get on down to Boundary Bay to try one of these new delectable desserts!

Juan De Fuca Coconut FlanRich and creamy with tastes of summer to come, this flan is topped with caramel and toasted coconut, served with a chocolate, oatmeal lace cookie.  $5.99

Dry Irish Stout Gingersnap-Rum CakeA spicy cake, mellowed with the sumptuous chocolate tones of our Dry Irish Stout, coated with an intoxicating rum glaze and topped with warm caramelized apples.  $3.99

Sweet Potato PieA southern classic, made into a Bellingham favorite, this sweet, spiced gluten free treat is made with a gingersnap crust and topped with heavy whipped cream and caramel.  A generous portion, so share with a friend.  $5.99

Boundary Bay is bringing the good ole days back this summer! Join Boundary and Krissa Woiwod in the beer garden every Sunday for fried chicken, good beer, and a big tent revival. Most of you know Krissa Woiwod from the Idiom theater where she wrote many plays, performed all of them, and hosted midnight cabarets. Now she’s bringing “the Answer” to Boundary Bay in the form of Dottie Partridge starting June 29th. Dottie Partridge was born in a small town near the shores of a wheat field in the middle of America. Since discovering The Answer, Dottie has toured extensively, spreading the message like so much sweet syrup to patrons of pie houses and pancake barns across the middle of America. And now she brings her message to the Northwest. Boundary Bay Brewery is pleased to announce the West Coast premiere of “The Answer”. A self-help revival;, featuring craft projects, singing, tears, balloons, pie, the past, the future and the reason it all hurts so much.
