The playoffs are finally here. An exciting NFC Wild Card matchup between the Seattle Seahawks (10-6) and the Minnesota Vikings (11-5) will be played at Minnesota’s temporary home, TCF Stadium, the first playoff game played in a college stadium in the past few decades.

The Seahawks are red hot coming off a blowout win against division rival Arizona Cardinals. But, Minnesota is bringing the ice. The coldest game on record was 16 degrees back December 2006, but the Sunday game is expected to just 1-4° F.

The low temperatures may work  in favor of the Hawks as  Marshawn Lynch,“Beast Mode,” returns to play after missing seven games due to injury. He spent that time rehabbing for 8-10 hours per day in the Bay Area with MMA trainer Tareq Azim.

The Vikings will also look to run the ball in the cold with the NFL’s leading rusher Adrian Peterson (1,485 yards). Second year quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will lead this Norv Turner offense against the Seahawks hard-nosed pass rush and the Legion of Boom.

NFL fans in North Carolina (Carolina Panthers) will be cheering for the Vikings; the last thing they want is play the Seahawks, who are destined for their third straight Super Bowl.

Bold Prediction: Seattle will beat Minnesota, 27-13 and be on their way to Charlotte to take on the Panthers in the NFC Divisional round.

Make sure to have your Skittles ready this weekend. Beast Mode will dominate even with the return of Minnesota’s star defensive players.
